Frank's Devlog #1


Although this week's development was slow for us, we did progress with Purp v. Green's development.
My part in being the lead developer, I had:

  • Extended the GDD further, adding the inclusion of the itch.io website and the assets
  • Began working on some graphics for both the itch page and game along with fonts (to be implemented later)
  • Assisted with designing character sprite sheet assets and animations with Art Designer, Daniel Baez

Through the next week, we will be implementing the assets into the game, as well as having an operating main menu and a functional game with all of the mechanics scripted. Powerups will be planned out but not all of them will make it into the next prototype.
